This time it's "Thin Air" which is probably my favorite track from the DVD/Blu-Ray (well, all tracks are pretty damn good) ! Once again a big thanks to my sweet and amazing Bulgarian crew who did the impossible... Not to mention the Anathema guys, the road crew and of course little Alx Leeks and Andy Leff for hopeing and praying I didn't fuck this up !
And Kscope is giving away loads of cool stuff next 12 days or so...so check it out also.

Four years after his unforgettable exhibition "DECADE DECAYED" at the historic Royal Albert Hall, Lasse Hoile is once again proud to release a new set of Special Limited Edition Art Prints. In this first series of images, Lasse has revisited recognizable works never before released as well as offered fresh new pieces that are merely weeks old; however, all six pieces collectively share his trademark color palette and elusive subjects. We love the handmade pouches the t-shirts were tucked in to, but we realized they were just not functional enough. We try to be as eco-conscious as we can here at MOB and suddenly it hit us. Why not upgrade the package to include a reusable shopping bag at no additional cost to you? We ask that you don’t just collect the bag, but to do your part and actually use it. (Plus your grocery and vinyl goodies will feel much better in them)! It’s good for you. It’s better for the environment. Everybody wins.
Order here.
*Please note, if you’ve already received your package with the “old” bag, you’ve already been shipped the shopping tote in addition. So no excuses for you guys either!!!

First time I was on tour with Porcupine Tree was just after the release of In Absentia. It was a co-headlining tour with Opeth, a tour and experience which I will never forget (especially because I got so damn drunk and had to hang out of the bus window from Minneapolis on the way to Boulder, Colorado puking all over...some pictures exists of me having to wash the bus down at some pittstop with the worst hangover ever, if someone has them please send by the way)
It was a life changing event for me and I met some really good people which I'm lucky to now call my friends. I also met a really good friend which some of you might have know too, Michael Piper who ran Ace Of Disks and released some amazing vinyls, Michael was terrible at finding way especially when driving, but he was always there for you no matter what and all round nice guy who never said no even though he worked his ass off with his mail order store and releasing amazing music, and also tracked down the great Linda Perhacs and got the amazing "Parallelograms" album re-released proper (He also introduced me to her at The House Of Blues in Los Angeles and had a very long chat with her about all things life and everything in between which I will also never forget) all while drinking his Dr. Pepper's and smoking 40+ smokes a day.
Once I drove with him from New York with a truck load of PT merch up to Syracuse and on the way he fell asleep behind the wheel almost causing a major disaster and PT merch spread all over the highway...luckily I was there to wake him up in the last minute.
Micheal sadly passed away some years ago but left a lot of good memories behind, he will be missed.
I posted a few of travel pictures in the On The Road gallery (in totally random order), mostly from 2003 and some from the Deadwing tour later, it's only a small peak for now...

Just received teasers from production room in the making of the t-shirts.
We opted to use new special process that allows for highest resolution artwork to be printed on higher quality fabrics without the fabric backing showing through the design.
We were most impressed with the image quality-you can really see the tonal values change though out the design.
The images’ high resolution is due to special conflicting inks that offset opposing colors. This way, there’s proper blackest blacks and whitest whites. It really makes the t-shirts an exact replica of the original image.
When heat is applied for a certain amount of time it seals the image to the shirt and creates a very nice lustrous finish bridging out even more of the tonal highlights resulting in very nice fade gradients. In less nerdy photographer words, it makes the picture perfect.
Each shirt design is limited to 250 and features the “Birdman” from the ‘Harmony Korine’ music video and one of the dolls from ‘Insurgentes’ (taken on the Isla de las Munecas in Mexico 2008).
They will also come with a special signed and numbered beautiful postcard-sized print in very special packaging.
This is just a little “in the making of” sneak peek. The photos I received were taken with little mobile phone so they don’t represent exact colors, but you can get the idea.
We will post more updates with proper pictures and packaging and will certainly let you know when they are ready for purchase through the website, so be sure to keep checking back!!

Remember to catch the new and spectacular Steven Wilson & Band show, right now on EU Tour.
I did some new visuals and a funky new long intro to the show. Here's a few images from Royal Albert Hall October 20th 2013 by the great Carl Glover.
